Description
All home comforts neatly arranged in a warm, cosy, self-sufficient mobile home. The 'Little Cracker' woodburner cooks, and heats water. Wool insulation keeps the bus toasty for hours - or open the doors and/or roof vents to cool down. King single bed is natural latex covered with wool, and double-lined curtains keep you warm and protect privacy. The cab floor is carpeted to reduce engine noise, while the living area is cork tiled and polished with natural, hard-wearing wax.
Two solar power panels charge a deep-cycle battery, which runs lights, fridge, radio/CD, water pump & hot points. The system can be run on 240V power as well. Plenty of storage in full height wardrobe, overhead lockers, cupboards, roll-out pantry and a large storage area under the bed, which is accessible from inside and outside. A roll-out awning provides shade and shelter, outside dining or space for guests.
At only 3.5 tonnes, it can be driven on a car license, and is a breeze to drive. All-round mirrors and backing camera combined with large windows give better visibility than in a car.
The motorhome is a 1997 Nissan Civilian, 6m, 4.2litre diesel automatic, with only 59,000km.
I am selling my motorhome as I am starting a new business and will not have the opportunity to travel in future. It has been a comfortable little home and a great adventure!
Where else could you buy an eco-home for $70,000??
