Cambrian has taken farming back to basics. A healthy soil gives healthy nutritious grass, which is consequently passed on to the animals.

Soil testing and grass sampling are taken regularly, to monitor soil and pasture health. These can be adjusted using natural and non-chemical fertilizers (ie, lime, fish fertilisers and chelated trace elements.

Consequently, we use no chemical sprays, growth promotants or any other chemically based health products or fertilisers.

We are not certified organic, (which keeps our costs down). An organic label will only prove what chemicals you do not use, as opposed to the primary health of soil and livestock. Refer Nutritional Facts Page.

Livestock which is bought in for our finishing systems, do not come from organic farms, as it is impossible to source certified organic in such large quantities.
