Firstly, the Ecoheater heat pump is an advanced Mitsubishi Electric heat pump specially selected for the cold South Canterbury winters. Installing an Ecoheater heat pump to replace standard electric heating will save you up to $3,000* in electricity over 10 years. This is because it uses much less electricity to provide the same warmth. Installing an Ecoheater to replace an open fire or wood burner will be simpler to use and will help clean up the air in South Canterbury.

Secondly, 750 homes will be selected in a draw to buy their Ecoheater heat pump at only $1,850† (including GST) fully installed. This is up to $1,000 less than the normal price thanks to the generous subsidies from LineTrust South Canterbury and Environment Canterbury.

Thirdly, the Ecoheater removes dust and odours from the air. It also prevents the spread of bacteria and viruses to provide clean, healthy, heated air in winter and cool air in summer.
